Traditional warehouse methods based on manual handling and static shelving structures can no longer meet the demands of modern textile logistics. Problems such as low storage density, inefficient picking operations, and poor responsiveness to changing production orders have become major obstacles to supply chain optimization.
To improve warehouse-to-production coordination and strengthen overall operational efficiency, the customer partnered with ZIKOO Intelligent to build a smart textile warehouse powered by Four-Way Pallet Shuttle technology. The project aimed to create a highly flexible and intelligent Automatic 3D warehouse capable of supporting fast-moving textile operations and dynamic inventory management.
The warehouse needed to manage more than 4,000 textile SKUs with frequent inbound and outbound operations, creating high requirements for inventory accuracy and intelligent warehouse scheduling.
Rolled textile materials varied significantly in size, diameter, and volume, increasing the difficulty of standardized storage and automated handling.
With a warehouse net height of only 6 meters, the customer required a solution capable of maximizing vertical space utilization while maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
The customer required highly responsive picking operations capable of supporting real-time order processing, multi-SKU picking, and rapid production material supply.
The warehouse adopted an advanced WCS intelligent scheduling platform capable of dynamically allocating operational routes and tasks. Elevators were no longer restricted to fixed workstations, significantly improving equipment utilization and warehouse operational flexibility.
Inbound and outbound stations were designed to function simultaneously as picking workstations, eliminating unnecessary material transfers and greatly improving order processing efficiency for fast-turnover textile products.
The Four-Way Pallet Shuttle system eliminated the limitations of traditional warehouse aisles by enabling multi-lane flexible access, maximizing warehouse storage density and improving overall space utilization.
Picked textile materials were automatically transported directly to the second-floor production workshop, enabling highly efficient warehouse and manufacturing coordination with faster production response times.
